The last session of the programme consisted of a visit to Abadal’s winery and lunch in Mas de la Sala’s restaurant.

In 2018, Manresa Turisme enterprise released the ‘Welcome’ plan aimed to commercial establishments and restaurants to involve them in the touristic activities of Manresa and its region; thus they could give clients information about the city. In 2018, 9 establishments adhered to the programme and three more did this year 2019.

Four visits were undertaken. The first one was in Oller del Mas, where different types of wine and olive oil from Bages were presented. The second outing consisted of a route through the Flequer valley and included a taste of cheese headed by Bages Terra de Vins. The third one was a guided tour through Manresa’s modernist art and a visit to the Museu de la Tècnica (technical museum). The last trip took place yesterday in Abadal’s winery and lunch with local products in Mas de la Sala’s restaurant.

About 20 participants attended the last session and seemed satisfied with the initiative, which they considered useful to know the touristic projects and to offer a better and extra service to their clients.
At the beginning of December, the application is going to be reopened for new businesses interested in joining the ‘Welcome 2020’ programme.
