A new combined entrance ticket to La Seu and Balç Street is launched · 05/07/2019

The entrance ticket will have a single price of 7€ to visit the Basilica of la Seu and the Balç Street Interpretation Centre. 

The close collaboration between Manresa Tourism and the Basilica of la Seu keeps growing more robust with different projects and events during the year. 

This month, a combined ticket named ‘Medieval Manresa’ will be released for 7€. It allows the visitor to get to know two prominent touristic locations of the middle ages period: the Basilica of la Seu and Barlç Street for a lower price. This ticket can be purchased at any of the sites and used the same day or in separate dates. Thus, visitors can get a cheaper entrance to see the medieval heritage than buying them separately. Currently, the prices for the general tickets are 4€ (Seu) and 5€ (Balç), therefore, they save 2€ by using the combined ticket.

Joan Calmet - Tourism Councillor - has underlined the importance of ‘working together’ - Manresa Tourism, Manresa 2022 and the Basilica of la Seu - to ‘ help value our touristic, cultural resources of top quality such as La Seu or Balç street’. 

Father Joan Hakolimana reminded the effort made by La Seu and Manresa Tourism to publicise the ‘historical and cultural potential of these touristic resources’. The priest highlighted the desire ‘of opening the church to the city’, as well as  the importance of the new audio-visuals to explain ‘the story running between La Seu and the Balç street’.
