Ignasian BTT

Ignatian BTT is a mountain bike cycling route following the last three stages of the Ignatian Way from Verdú to Manresa (100km approx.)

On September 8th, 2019, the first trial of the Ignasiana BTT was held, which brought together about twenty cyclists and professionals in the sector to determine the difficulty, interest and complexity of the route. The idea arises from the AMBASO association with the support of 365 STORE TRISKEL, who was in charge of logistics and provisioning.

The route was made with the aim of creating a track to upload to Wikiloc to promote the Way and also to gain experience for organizing an outing with more participants in the future, with the collaboration of the Town Councils of Manresa, Igualada and Verdú.

The presentation of the route took place in Manresa on September 13th 2019 with the presence of the councillor of Igualada, Marc Marcè, and the councillor of Tourism of Verdú, Georgina Procter.

It is an initiative linked to the territory, intending to structure the Way and the populations that make it up.
