Today we present two new books inviting you to follow this path that combines culture, history, gastronomy, nature and spirituality.

Since today you’ll find it at Manresa Tourist Office ‘Buscando al Pelegrino: El Camino Ignaciano’ by José Luis Iriberri, JS and ‘De Camino con Ignacio” by Philippe Lemonnier, both edited by GCLOYOLA -Grupo de Comunicación Loyola-. These guides are added to the catalogue about the Ignatian Trail that the tourist office already had, together with useful leaflets and credentials  to cover the route.

?With convenient information based on other pilgrims' experiences.

“Buscando al Peregrino: El Camino Ignaciano” by José Luis Iriberri, JS.

This work is a suggestion to people curious about pilgrimage and who dare to initiate a new challenging adventure through northeastern Spain. It gathers the life lesson of Íñigo from Loyola, when he walked these paths in 1522 and today they are travelled by nature lovers, as well as gastronomy, culture and religious enthusiasts who cover the route crossing more than 50 villages and cities included in the Ignatian Trail.

Jose Luís Iriberri, JS as an experienced pilgrim of St James and Ignatian paths, is the author of the book accompanying pilgrims throughout 700km, from Loyola-Azpeitia until Manresa. Stage by stage, the route is walked along with the 1522-pilgrim, linking the experience of Ignatious from Loyola with what the route offers today in the 21th century.

Tourism, gastronomy, culture and spirituality are joined in this 29-stage pilgrimage on foot, described in the book. Historic details and orientations complete the heritage even if it is read from home.

A useful work for ones eager to plan their own adventure with convenient information based on other pilgrims’ experience
