Two and a half years after closing the tour of '45 cerebros y 1 corazón '(2017), María Arnal and Marcel Bagés present their new album,' Clamor '. It resizes the concept of tradition, explores the personal, collective and global changes that a planet in crisis leads us to, our infinite capacity for transformation in the face of adversity and the challenges of a future more uncertain than ever. And it does so on a choral scale, uniting voices that imagine possible worlds and launch a shared cry where guitars and electronics become atmospheres, combining stories and speculative mythologies, strings and self-generated samples, field recordings and artificial intelligence.
With the collaboration of the American Holly Herndon, a key figure in the recent history of digital experimentation, the legend of contemporary classical music of the last four decades, Kronos Quartet, and the electro-acoustic formation Morphosis Ensemble, ' Clamor 'is mutant pop at the limits of emotion: forty minutes of brutal intensity that culminates the expectations generated by '45 brains and 1 heart'.
