Catalonia Baroque Museum

The Catalonia Baroque Museum, located in the former Col·legi de Sant Ignasi [Saint Ignatius School], will host the inaugural exhibition entitled “The Image of Ignatius of Loyola in artistic creations of the 17th and 18th centuries”. From the moment of Ignatius’ death, the Jesuits made a major effort to elaborate a faithful image of the saint that would be shared both inside and outside Society of Jesus, aware of the importance of his image as a means of sharing knowledge and experiences.
