On 28th June at 6 pm at the Espai Plana de l'Om there will be an extraordinary reading club session with the author Marion Muller-Colard (Marseille, 1978) open to the public.

The writer and Protestant theologian, who holds a doctorate in theology from the Faculty of Theology of Strasbourg, has devoted herself to penal mediation and is currently a member of the National Advisory Committee on Ethics for Life Sciences and Health.

As a writer, she is the author of essays for which she has been awarded several prizes, such as the Premi Spiritualités d'Aujourd'hui, Premi Écritures & Spiritualités and the Abat Mercet Prize. She has also cultivated the genre of juvenile novels, fiction and poetry.

During the event, the author will speak about her work "L'Autre Dieu. La Plainte, la Menace et la Grâce", published by Fragmenta. This book tells us about the small mythologies that are the irrational defence of the systems of regulation of evil that we develop outside of any catechism. And how the irreducible "threat" of chance hovers over our lives.

The conversation will be led by Adelaide Baracoo and will feature a round of open questions. The whole event will have a simultaneous translation from French to Catalan and end with the book's sale and signing.
