As part of the IX CICLE DE CONCERTS D’ESTIU A VILADORDIS,  Moana Quartet will follow the biography of Saint Ignatius of Loyola by performing several classical pieces highlighting each of the stages of his life. These will be meticulously introduced with brief explanations that will place the listener within our protagonist’s historical and vital framework. The concerts take place in the exceptional setting of the Sanctuary of La Salut de Viladordis, one of the 22 listed Ignatian locations of Manresa.

The Moana Quartet was founded in 2013 and it is formed by the violinists Rubén Herrera and Carlota Novell, the viola player Sergi Miró and the cellist Clara Manjón. With a rich and diverse international professional training, the members of the Moana Quartet have in common, having coincided in their higher studies at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, to continue perfecting their technique abroad.
