Catalan singer-songwriter Joana Serrat returns with Hardcore From The Heart, the fifth album in her discography. Serrat uses the book by sexologist Annie Sprinkles - of the same title - to take an introspective journey that confronts her with a reflection of herself through her lyrics and music in front of an image made up of chiaroscuros.
Over the last few years, Joana Serrat has performed on the stages of such important national festivals as Sonorama, Fib, Low, Primavera Sound, Wam and Cruce, among others. She has also toured a large part of Europe and the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and South Africa. On occasions, she has shared halls with big names such as Kris Kristofferson, Band Of Horses, Neko Caso, The Jayhawks and Ryan Bingham.
